PYROMETERS
An analog Pyrometer is a dash mounted temperature monitor consisting of three basic components: Thermocouple(s); Leadwire(s) to transfer readings; and the Gauge that registers readings in degrees Fahrenheit. The exhaust temperature bears a direct relationship to actual combustion temperature. Boat enthusiasts are all cognizant that “Lean is Mean”; but, “Lean” is also “Hot.” A single pyrometer kit is complete with one gauge, one thermocouple, and one 18' leadwire. A dual pyrometer is complete with a dual gauge (twin needles) measuring both banks of the engine; two thermocouples; and two 18' leadwires. Both the single and dual kits are available in white and black and 2" or 3" gauges. Components may be purchased separately.
DIGITAL TWIN DISPLAY PYROMETER

Features Min/Max Temperature Recall. Why use a multi-tester to read engine exhaust gas temperature when a dedicated exhaust meter is available. It will not only give you more accurate readings, it will also do it at a reduced cost. Meter features a Dual Digital Display that simultaneously gives you the current reading on both banks or a “MAX” hold that records the highest readings that have been achieved in a “PASS”. Included is a quick detachable velcro mounting which allows the meter to be removed instantly and placed in the protective case provided. Meter operation is as simple as pressing 1-2-3 and we have even labeled the buttons for your convenience. This is a complete kit including the wiring, thermocouples and mounting instructions. Also, included is a pair of ‘beaded” thermocouples with two feet leads to read the temperature of about anything. Meter is warranted for five years; leadwires and thermocouples are warranted for one year. |
